QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree in business or related field. Master's degree in business or related field preferred. Ability to handle multiple projects and effectively prioritize work flow. Knowledge of fundraising software and methodologies. Skilled in research, development, implementation and evaluation of multifaceted development programming. We currently have our main office in Hagerstown and another office in Cumberland, MD. This position requires working in both the Hagerstown and Cumberland offices. Duties: • Schedule appointments for patients by tele- phone and in person. • Effectively manage the schedule so that all med- ical providers are working efficiently and at the convenience of the patients. • Professionally communicate with all patients re- garding their scheduled appointments. • Secondarily, assist with patient check in and check out as well as entering demographic data, as time is available. • Conduct these tasks in both Hagerstown, three days a week and Cumberland, two days a week.
Skills:
• Excellent computer skills • Excellent phone/customer service skills • Must understand the principles of scheduling while minimizing conflicts. • Must be able to work flexibly with other office personnel. Experience: • Three years medical office experience with at least one year as a full time scheduler. • Minimum one year experience using an elec- tronic medical record system. • Experience effectively working with patients and employees at all levels - professional (MD, RN, NP), and non-degreed office staff. • Experience with Maryland-area companies a plus.
