Deputies looking for missing Washington County man

The Washington County Sheriff's Department is seeking information on the whereabouts of Donald Melvin Fones, 59, of 15618 Deer Lodge Circle, near Hagers-town, deputies said in a news release.

Fones left his home with his belongings Feb. 1 and has had no contact with his family since then, deputies said. He is white, about 6 feet tall, and weighs 200 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes, deputies said.

Copper wire reported stolen at Greencastle development

GREENCASTLE, Pa. - A large amount of copper wire was reported stolen Thursday from buildings under construction on West Baltimore Street, Greencastle police said in a news release.

The theft from Coblentz Development happened between 5 p.m. Wednesday and 3 p.m. Thursday, police said.

$8,000 worth of copper wire missing in Pa.

CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - A total of $8,000 worth of copper wire was reported stolen from Embarq at sites in Mercersburg and Hamilton Township, Pennsylvania State Police said. The wire was stolen between Jan. 27 and Feb. 6, police said.
