Pleasant Valley Elementary students who participated in the "Joys of Reading" summer program enjoyed a picnic lunch, received a new book and other prizes.
Students who participated read at least 10 books over the summer, kept a log of their reading and completed activities that explained their thoughts on the books that they enjoyed.
Students who participated were Ethan Bidle, John Crews, Logan Phelps, Matthew Rogers, Carly Kidwell, Hannah Kirby, Nicole Nagy, Jami Nelson, Mark Frushour, Colton Horton, Nicholas Sweeney, Brandon Taylor, Zachary Taylor.
