Italian ice giveaway

Family jewelry making
CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. -Chambersburg YMCA will host a family jewelry making workshop from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. Sunday, March 15, at Chambersburg YMCA.
The cost is $25 for one parent and child for nonmembers; $15 for one parent and child for members; and $5 for each additional person.
The cost includes instruction as well as all jewelry making supplies.

Special needs workshops
FREDERICK, Md. - Families Plus will present a SECAC Resource Fair and workshops from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Saturday, March 21, at Rock Creek School, 191 Waverley Drive.
A full day of resources for parents of special needs children and workshops will be offered. Frederick County Public Schools' Partners for Success, Families Plus! and the Infant and Toddler's Family Support Network will present workshops. Single moms group
FREDERICK, Md. - Single Moms Together will meet from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, March 21, at Families Plus, 35 E. Church St. The meeting will feature a discussion about balancing work and family responsibilities and a visit to the historical society for a story and a craft. Alzheimer's medication discussion
FREDERICK, Md. -Families Plus will present "New Medications for Alzheimer's Disease" from noon to 1 p.m. Thursday, March 26, at Rally Point, 1549 Porter St., Fort Detrick. Matthew Hollis will discuss what the new Alzheimer's disease medicines can and cannot do at this lunch and learn. Bring your own lunch or purchase lunch at Rally Point. The program begins at noon.
