Man in critical condition after I-70 crash in Pa.
A Virginia man was in critical condition at Altoona (Pa.) Regional Hospital on Monday after he was injured in an accident Saturday.
Peter Shoop, 64, of Falls Church, Va., was driving west on Interstate 70 in Fulton County, Pa. when his car left the road and struck a guide rail, Pennsylvania State Police said Monday. Shoop’s car also truck a concrete drainage ditch and a tree before it stopped about 175 feet from the initial impact, troopers said in a news release.
Shoop was flown to Altoona Regional Hospital, where he was in critical condition Monday morning, a hospital spokeswoman said.
