Golden Living Center donates to Friends of Safe Place

Golden Living Center of Hagerstown recently donated $500 to Friends of Safe Place, Washington County Child Advocacy Center, during a check presentation at 24 N. Walnut St. in Hagerstown.

Safe Place will use the donation to purchase supplies.

The donation was made in collaboration with Aegis Therapies and AseraCare Hospice and Home Health.

On hand for the presentaton were Bill Boyer, executive director of Golden Living Center; Maryland Del. Christopher Shank; Hagerstown Police Chief Arthur Smith; Washington County Sheriff Doug Mullendore; Tessa Thorn, program manager of Safe Place; and Helen Baucum, director of sales, marketing and admissions at Golden Living Center.

Golden Living Center is at 750 Dual Highway in Hagerstown.
