Gay Colleen Parker, 62

HANCOCK - Gay Colleen Parker, age 62, of McKinley Drive, died Monday, Nov. 2, 2009, at the Morgan County War Memorial Hospital in Berkeley Springs, W.Va.
Born April 15, 1947, in Batavia, N.Y., she was the daughter of Kathleen M. Hurd Mager of Batavia and the late Henry J. Mager.
She was a 1964 graduate of Notre Dame High School, Batavia.
She was a homemaker.
She was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church, Hancock, Md., where she was a church school teacher.
Besides her mother, she is survived by her husband, David J. Parker, whom she married Dec. 28, 1974, in Batavia; one daughter, Tammy Lynn Kelly of Berkeley Springs; one son, Timothy Jon Rittersback and wife, Dee, of Batavia; two sisters, Teresa A. Tamfer, and Jennifer M. Jacobs and husband, James, all of Batavia; three brothers, Richard H. Mager and wife, Victoria, Michael S. Mager and Jill Smith, and William D. Mager and wife, Patricia, all of Batavia; eight grandchildren, Jennifer, Joshua, Noah, Brooklynn, Kelly, Trevor, Travis and Tyler Rittersback; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by one grandson, Jason Kelly.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, Nov. 6, at 11 a.m. at St. Peter's Catholic Church. The Rev. Jack Lombardi will be celebrant. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
The family requests the omission of flowers and that memorial contributions be made to St. Peter's Catholic Church, 16 E. High St., Hancock, MD 21750.
Arrangements were handled by Grove Funeral Home, Hancock.
