Niki Marie Queen-Rhoderick, 57

KEEDYSVILLE - Mrs. Niki Marie Queen-Rhoderick, 57, of Keedysville, Md., went to be with Jesus on Tuesday, Nov. 3, 2009. She was the loving wife of Phil Rhoderick.
Niki was born in Washington, D.C., on July 3, 1952. She grew up in Rockville, Md., where she attended St. Jude's Catholic School and Perry High School. She was a graduate of the University of Maryland. Niki was an early childhood teacher at Washington County Schools. Niki loved the Lord and served him through all that she accomplished.
Surviving in addition to her husband Phil are her children, Michael Queen and Maria Queen, and her stepchildren Brice Queen, Laura Queen-Barringer, Wendy Queen, Christopher Rhoderick and Shawn Rhoderick. Niki is the daughter of Dominick Giampietro and the sister of Camille Dyer, Adam Giampietro, Vince Giampietro and Vince Giampietro.
Her mother, Flavia Giampietro, and her sister, Lynn Case, preceded her in everlasting life.
The family will receive friends from 3 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 6, at Stauffer Funeral Home, 8 E. Ridgeville Blvd., Mount Airy. Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 7, at Stauffer Funeral Home with Pastor Todd Westphal from El Shaddai Congregation officiating.
Interment will take place at Poplar Springs Cemetery, Poplar Springs.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Care Net Pregnancy Center of Frederick, 707 N. Market St., Frederick, MD 21701.
