Hagerstown Trust donates coin fees to Girl Scouts

The Hagerstown Trust Division of The Columbia Bank recently donated $481.40 to the Shawnee Girl Scout Council.

The money was raised through fees from customers using the bank's "Self-Serve" coin counting machines. The fee for use of the coin-counting machines is 6 percent, with all proceeds donated to a different local charity each month. To date, $8,384.04 has been donated to local charities from the use of the coin machines.
