Edward L. Reynolds
FALLING WATERS, W. Va. - Edward L. Reynolds, 55, of 132 Lockhouse Road, who died Saturday, July 1, 2000, at University of Maryland Hospital, Baltimore, is also survived by three nieces and a nephew.
Cynthia A. Nelson
HANCOCK - Cynthia Ann Nelson, 46, of Stein Road, died Saturday, July 1, 2000, at the University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore.
Born April 9, 1954, in Chicago, she was the daughter of Aurthur and Elda Ann Malmin Hagstrom of Hoffman Estates, Ill.
She was a graduate of the School of Bible and Music in Grand Rapids, Mich.
She was employed at Pine Ridge Nursing Home, Warfordsburg, Pa., as an aide. She was a horse trainer for Keith Kirk, a gardener and did housecleaning for people in the Hancock area.
She was a member of Bethel Community Church, near Warfordsburg, where she was organist.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband, Jonathan Alan Nelson, whom she married Oct. 15, 1977; a sister, Sharon James of Hoffman Estates; a brother, William Hagstrom of Oklahoma City; nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by an aunt.
Services will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at Bethel Community Church. The Rev. Gary Quackenbos will officiate. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery.
The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6 to 9 p.m. at Grove Funeral Home, 141 W. Main St., Hancock, which will be open from 2 p.m.; and Thursday one hour prior to the service at the church.

Rosalie C. Brown
FREDERICK, Md. - Rosalie C. Brown, 73, of Frederick, died Saturday, July 1, 2000, at Frederick Memorial Hospital.
Born Nov. 19, 1926, in Washington County, she was the daughter of Ethel K. Moser Renner of Frederick and the late Richard L. Renner.
Her husband, Herman M. Brown Jr., died in June 1984.
She was the proprietor of the family business, Brown's Liquors, Frederick. She previously operated the Linden Hills family grocery store in Frederick. She had also been employed as a registered nurse in her early years.
She was a volunteer at Parkway Elementary School and with youth and law enforcement agencies.
She was a member of the Wednesday Night Bowling Ladies League at Village Lanes, a supporter of Frederick County Babe Ruth League and the MARVA Baseball League.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by a daughter, Dawna S. Keyser of Frederick; a son, Raymond G. Brown of Frederick; a sister, Treva I. Hane of Frederick; four grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick. The Rev. Marilyn Washburn will officiate. Burial will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery.
The family will receive friends today from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mamie M. Ray
Mamie Mae Breneman Ray, 80, of Avalon Manor Health Care Center, Hagerstown, and formerly of University Drive, Mont Alto, Pa., died Sunday, July 2, 2000, at Washington County Hospital.
Born Dec. 9, 1919, in Williamson, Pa., she was the daughter of the late William and Carrie Ketzel Breneman.
Her husband, Norman E. Ray Sr., died Oct. 7, 1988. They were married Oct. 1, 1935.
She attended Waynesboro and Quincy schools.
She was employed by Waynesboro Shoe Factory; South Mountain (Pa.) Restoration Center; and Hess Orchard in Five Forks, Pa.
She was a member of First Brethren Church of Waynesboro; and attended Fetterhoff Chapel United Methodist Church, Chambersburg, Pa.
She is survived by a daughter, Debbie S. Willard of Sabillasville, Md.; four sons, Norman E. Ray Jr. of Mont Alto, Donald E. Ray Sr. of Waynesboro, Terry L. Ray of Marion, Pa., and Michael V. Ray of Washington, D.C. area; four sisters, Elsie P. Brechbiel of Indiana, Anna S. Weicht and Helen L. Walker, both of Waynesboro, and Hilda Sanders of New Oxford, Pa.; two brothers, Clarence H. Breneman of Chambersburg and William F. Breneman of Waynesboro; 25 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Connie E. James; a son, Robert L. Ray; two granddaughters; five sisters, and three brothers.
Services will be Thursday at 10:30 a.m. at Grove-Bowersox Funeral Home, 50 S. Broad St., Waynesboro. The Rev. Donald L. Bender will officiate. Burial will be in Grindstone Hill Cemetery in Chambersburg.

George W. Lambert
KEARNEYSVILLE, W.Va. - George W. "Chuck" Lambert, 53, of Kearneysville, died Sunday, July 2, 2000, at his home.
Born Dec. 31, 1946, in Richmond, Va., he was the son of the late George E. and Elsie Wells Lambert.
He was employed by General Motors Corp. He raised and owned thoroughbred horses.
A veteran of the U.S. Navy, he served in the Vietnam War.
He is survived by his wife, Teresa "Terry" Dearing Lambert; a daughter, Michelle Dezan of Winchester, Va.; two brothers, Edwin Lambert and James Lambert, both of Winchester; a stepson, Colton Stonebraker; two grandchildren; a niece and nephews.
A memorial service will be held Thursday at 10 a.m. at Brown Funeral Home in Martinsburg, W.Va. The Rev. Douglas J. Hollida will officiate. Burial will be in Rosedale Cemetery.

Veda K. Stuck
WINCHESTER, Va. - Veda Kees "Tootie" Stuck, 78, of Winchester, and formerly of Hedgesville, W.Va., died Monday, July 3, 2000, at Integrated Health Services, Charles Town, W.Va.
Born July 31, 1921, in Berkeley County, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late John Harrison and Della Cain Kees.
She owned and operated Tootie's Place; and was formerly employed by Crown, Cork and Seal.
She is survived by three daughters, Betty Shearer of Winchester, Donna Palmer of Glen Burnie, Md., and Eva Graham of Gerrardstown, W.Va.; 12 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Cathleen Kees; two brothers, Lloyd Roscoe Kees and John LeRoy Kees; and a grandson.
Services will be Thursday at 1 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home, Martinsburg, W.Va. Burial will be in Central Chapel Cemetery, Ganotown, W.Va.

Martha E. Davis
CLEAR SPRING - Martha Elizabeth Davis, 66, of Clear Spring, died Sunday, July 2, 2000, at the University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore, from complications of surgery.
Born Oct. 3, 1933, in Cumberland, Md., she was the daughter of Steward A. Ramsburg of Clear Spring and the late Della F. Keller Ramsburg.
She retired in 1989 from Super Fresh in Greenbelt, Md.
In addition to her father, she is survived by her husband, Richard E. Davis; a daughter, Marsha K. Tidler of Leonardtown, Md.; a brother, Stephen Trigonoplos of Pomfret, Md.; and a granddaughter.
A memorial service will be held Thursday at 1 p.m. at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown. Burial will be in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park, Hagerstown,

George W. McFerren Jr.
CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - George W. "Bill" McFerren Jr., 63, of 521 Weaver Ave., died Friday, June 30, 2000, at Chambersburg Hospital.
Born Jan. 30, 1937, in Chambersburg, he was the son of the late George W. Sr. and Catherine Byers McFerren.
His wife, Janet R. Thomas McFerren, died Dec. 9, 1997.
He graduated from Chambersburg Area Senior High School.
He retired as a supply analyst in 1992 after 32 years at Letterkenny Army Depot, Chambersburg.
He served in the U.S. Navy.
He was a member of Central Presbyterian Church, Chambersburg.
He was a member of Hume-McNeil-Byers AMVETS Post 224, Burt J. Asper Post 46 American Legion and Charles M. Nitterhouse Post 1599 VFW, all of Chambersburg.
He is survived by a daughter, Tammy L. Stewart of Mount Holly, N.J.; a son, Keith L. McFerran of Allentown, Pa.; two granddaughters, Tasha Stewart and Krystal Stewart, both of Mount Holly.
Funeral services will be Thursday at 1 p.m. at Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home, 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg. The Rev. C. Edward Morgan will officiate. Burial will be in Parklawns Memorial Gardens, Chambersburg, with military services by Charles M. Nitterhouse Post 1599 VFW Honor Guard.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Ezra A. Over
CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - Erza A. Over, 80, of Penn Hall Nursing Home, and formerly of 29 Minnich Road and 2685 Shields Road, the home of his son, died Sunday, July 2, 2000, at Penn Hall.
Born Feb. 6, 1920, in Peters Township, Pa., he was the son of the late J. Clarence and Ethel M. Auman Over.
His wife, Julia V. Harrison Over, died July 23, 1990.
He retired in 1982 from Creston Lockbaum Inc. in Chambersburg, after 19 years. He previously had been employed by McIntire Heating Co., Chambersburg.
A veteran of the U.S. Army, he served during World War II in the European Theater.
He attended Park Avenue United Methodist Church, Chambersburg.
He was a member of Detrich-Brechbill Post 6121 American Legion, St. Thomas.
He is survived by two daughters, Gloria J. Firman of St. Thomas and Barbara O. Walter of Chambersburg; a son, Ronald E. Over of Chambersburg; a sister, Rebecca Hunsberger of Mercersburg, Pa.; seven grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother.
Services will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at First United Methodist Church, 225 S. Second St., Chambersburg. The Rev. Donald C. Nolder will officiate. Burial will be in Parklawns Memorial Gardens, Chambersburg.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 1 to 2 p.m. at the church.

George L. Fearnow
BERKELEY SPRINGS, W.Va. - George L. Fearnow, 89, of Berkeley Springs, died Sunday, July 2, 2000, at Hilltop House Nursing Home in Winchester, Va.
Born Feb. 11, 1911, in Morgan County, W.Va., he was the son of the late John Tyler and Elizabeth Spielman Fearnow.
His wife, Catherine E. Milleson, died in 1970.
He began his own coal business in 1933, began an ice business, hauled cans for tomato canneries and pioneered the marketing of pulpwood in Morgan County. He retired in 1974.
He was a member of Frances Asbury United Methodist Church, Berkeley Springs.
He was a member of Berkeley Springs Lions Club, DeFord Lodge 88 A.F. & A.M. He made 4-H All-Star in 1928. He was a member of Morgan County Historical and Genealogical Society and Morgan County Library Association.
He is survived by three sisters, Maxine Gobeil of Birmingham, Ala., Katherine Dougal of Kerrville, Texas, and Tresa Ellen DeHaven of Winchester; two brothers, Henry W. Fearnow of Washington, D.C., and John T. Fearnow Jr. of Sterling, Va.; three nieces; nine nephews; five great-nieces; seven great-nephews; three great-great-nieces and three great-great-nephews.
Services will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Frances Asbury United Methodist Church, Berkeley Springs. The Rev. Jim McMahan will officiate. Burial will be in Greenway Cemetery with services by DeFord Masonic Lodge 88.

Mary J. Miller
MARTINSBURG, W.Va. - Mary Jane Miller, 82, of Martinsburg, and formerly of North Mountain, W.Va., died Sunday, July 2, 2000, at her home.
Born Oct. 13, 1917, in Berkeley County, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late William and Rosie Fishel Largent.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Evers R. Miller.
She was formerly employed by Martinsburg Veneer.
She is survived by four daughters, Charlotte French of Allensville, W.Va., Marie Rush of Strasburg, Va., Peggy Smith of Hedgesville, W.Va., and Debra Pool of Martinsburg; four sons, Reginald Miller, Paul Miller and Roy Miller, all of Martinsburg, and Timmy Miller of Hedgesville; two brothers, James Largent and John Largent, both of Martinsburg; 43 grandchildren; 62 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a son, Douglas Miller; three sisters, Helen Price, Sally Domer and Mabel Gaither; two brothers, Samuel Largent and Robert Largent.
Services will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home in Martinsburg, W.Va. The Rev. Eddie H. Edmonds will officiate. Burial will be in Rosedale Cemetery.

J. Leon O'Toole
CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - J. Leon O'Toole, 87, of Menno Haven Nursing Home, 2075 Scotland Ave., died Sunday, July 2, 2000, at the nursing home.
Born Feb. 25, 1913, in Waynesboro, Pa., he was the son of the late William Edward and Nelle M. Smith O'Toole.
He was a 1931 graduate of Waynesboro High School.
He was employed by Wheat Chevrolet Garage and Floyd Eylers Service Station. He then was an owner-operator of a service station. In 1936 he was a machine operator for Landis Machine, retiring in 1978 after 42 years.
He was a member of St. Andrew's Catholic Church, Waynesboro, was an usher and lector; and was a member and past secretary of the Holy Name Society.
He is survived by his wife, Isabell Wishard O'Toole, of Menno Haven, whom he married Nov. 28, 1940; two daughters, Anne K. Molony of Myersville, Md., and Margaret M. Ivey of San Antonio; four sons, Patrick J. O'Toole, D. Edward O'Toole, Joseph L. O'Toole II, and Michael P. O'Toole, all of Waynesboro; two brothers, Richard J. O'Toole and Robert B. O'Toole, both of Waynesboro; 21 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Doreen Marie O'Toole Mouer; a brother, William E. O'Toole; and a grandson.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated Thursday at 11 a.m. at St. Andrew's Catholic Church, 12 N. Broad St., Waynesboro. The Rev. Thomas J. Hemler will be celebrant. Burial will be in Burns Hill Cemetery, Waynesboro.
The family will receive friends Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. at Grove-Bowersox Funeral Home, 50 S. Broad St., Waynesboro. A rosary will be recited at 8:30 p.m.
