CONWAY, S.C. — Brett Moreland, Marquise Jones, Trevor Poe and Dillon Regalia each had two hits and Jones, Poe and Regalia each drove in two runs as Jefferson remained unbeaten with a five-inning rout of Whitesboro in the Mingo Bay Classic on Wednesday.

Poe’s two-run single highlighted a five-run first inning for the Cougars (15-0). Tyler Burnett added an RBI double.

Chris Payne and Jake Sites combined to hold Whitesboro to four hits, with Payne improving to 3-0.
