The Washington County Museum Ramble is set for Saturday, May 2, and Sunday, May 3, and will feature 20 museums and sites throughout Washington County.
Organizers of this year’s Ramble are hoping to be a silver lining in tough economic times.
“It gives people an idea of things to do at home, what’s here in our back yard,” said Bill Knode, president of the Washington County Association of Museums and Historic Sites.
Participating museums — which include the Jonathan Hager House and Museum at City Park in Hagerstown and Fort Frederick State Park in Big Pool — are offering free or discounted admission.
For more information about the ramble, call 301-739-8393.
