Waynesboro getting traffic lights in sync

WAYNESBORO, Pa. — Crews from Herr Signal and Lighting Co. of Grantville, Pa., dug trenches for traffic signal wiring on Monday at the intersection of Third and Potomac streets in Waynesboro.

They’ll next work at intersections on Main Street in an effort to synchronize the traffic lights. Installation of brick sidewalks and a reconfiguration of Center Square are to follow.

Officials said they expect the entire project to be completed in three to four months.
