A Hub City tradition, the 85th annual Alsatia Mummers Parade is set for 6 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 31, down Potomac Street from Oak Hill Avenue to Wilson Boulevard. See story.

Creature double feature

The Maryland Theatre will host a double feature of scary classics "The Blob" and "Shaun of the Dead." Show time is 7:30 p.m. Halloween Eve. The $10.50 admission price includes a free soda and popcorn. Costumed guests are eligible for prizes. Downtown Hagerstown.

A night of Poe and zombies

The mummers aren't the only ones marching for Halloween. The Funkstown Halloween parade is set for 6 p.m. tonight throughout Funkstown.

Celtic chords

Pipes 'Spooktacular'

World Series

The Yanks and the Phillies are vying for the top title in baseball. The series began Wednesday and continues through the weekend - and could go through Thursday, depending on how many games it takes to determine the champ. The games air on Fox. Check local TV listings.
