Aberdeen woman crowned Miss South Dakota Collegiate

Jane Mehlhaff of Aberdeen was crowned Miss South Dakota Collegiate in Rapid City on Jan. 26. Mehlhaff will go on to represent South Dakota at the national pageant at Disney World in Orlando, Fla., in July. In addition to a college scholarship and other prizes, Mehlhaff will have the opportunity to make appearances and continue her volunteer work around the state. Mehlhaff, the former Junior Miss Aberdeen, is the daughter of Pete and Paddy Mehlhaff.
