Tate Nafziger 6-2 220 LB Fr. Gettysburg, S.D./Gettysburg HS

A 2-time All-State selection and a 2012 Wendy's Heisman state finalist, Nafziger recorded 212 solo and 137 assisted tackles in his career with the Gettysburg HS Battlers and head coach Vern Smith. He was also named to the Aberdeen American News All-Area and Argus Leader Elite 45 teams each of the past two seasons, as well. GHS has gone 29-13 during Nafziger's career. Nafziger is an All-Yellowstone Trail Conference pick in basketball as well as a four-year participant at the state track and field meet. He is a state placer in both the discus and shot put events. Coach Dosch on Nafziger: "Tate is an excellent all-around player for Potter County. He has the athleticism, versatility, and intelligence to excel in our defensive scheme."
