Roncalli students perform with Middle School All-State Band

Mary Gutenkauf, Emily Geffre, Isabel Litzen and McKayla Carda represented the Aberdeen Catholic School System in the Middle School All-State Band in Pierre March 1-2. Emily and Isabel, both eighth-graders, were presented with awards for being selected for the band for all three middle school years. McKayla, an eighth-grader, was a second-year member, and Mary, a sixth-grader, attended for the first time. From left, are Mary, Emily, Roncalli band director, Kimberly Carda, Isabel and McKayla.
