Battlefield Surgery

George Wunderlich, executive director of the National Museum of Civil War Medicine in Frederick, Md., talks about battlefield surgery during the Civil War. The Pry House, which is on Antietam National Battlefield, also was General George B. McClellan's headquarters during the battle.
