APD Identifies Man Shot After Police Vehicles Rammed in Chase

( Courtesy Facebook, per APD / February 19, 2013 ) Anchorage police say local man Carl Richard Bowie III, 25, was shot and killed by police Tuesday morning after he rammed two police vehicles during a chase from the Dimond Center. While police initially said Bowie had been at a halfway house, the state Department of Corrections said Tuesday afternoon that Bowie had been on parole for a robbery. |
