APD Identifies Man Shot After Police Vehicles Rammed in Chase

Anchorage police say local man Carl Richard Bowie III, 25, was shot and killed by police Tuesday morning after he rammed two police vehicles during a chase from the Dimond Center. While police initially said Bowie had been at a halfway house, the state Department of Corrections said Tuesday afternoon that Bowie had been on parole for a robbery.
