Volker Kirchberg, a professor of cultural sciences at Leuphana University of Lüneberg, Germany, chats with Doreen Bolger, Baltimore Museum of Art director and Station North board member, at the City Arts open house. Kirchberg brought a group of his students to Washington, D.C., and they came to Baltimore for the Station North "Final Friday" event to see how the city was merging arts support with urban revitalization. "It's so great," he said. "It's a positive sign about how to develop urban areas."
