Richard D'Souza's Charles Village charmer, Meet 27, combines elements of a classic corner bar, arty cafe and university town health-food restaurant. D'Souza's world-traveling menu recalls the Moosewood-era of vegetarian cooking when food doesn't always look so pretty. No matter. Everyone will be looking at the room's cheerful murals, the largest of which portrays an assemblage of Baltimore figures that includes Edgar Allan Poe, Thurgood Marshall and Michael Phelps, who appear to be having a grand time.--Richard Gorelick
