Byrne, MD, right, Director of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Johns Hopkins Hospital, has performed all of the nasal reconstruction surgeries on Linda Hershey, 63. Her nose was removed in December 2007, due to squamous cell cancer. In this ten-hour operation, Byrne grafted Linda Hershey's rib and ear cartilage onto her nose. |
