Talk about how the O's 2012 season really started on the last day of the 2011 season

As much fun as this season has been so far, the good times really started last Sept. 28. That's the night Robert Andino's RBI-single capped a two-run ninth inning that not only handed the despised Red Sox a 4-3 defeat, but pretty-much eliminated them from the playoffs (they were officially eliminated a few minutes later, when the Tampa Bay Rays beat the Yankees and secured the wild-card spot for themselves). A happier flock of birds hadn't been seen in these parts for years.
