Anne Arundel County Councilman Chris Trumbauer, a Democrat from Annapolis, got Cal Ripken Jr.'s autograph in the mid-1990s by shouting a reference to the future Hall of Famer's "Got Milk?" ads. "I was trying to get him to sign my floppy hat," Trumbauer said. "I made eye contact and said, 'Cal, I drink milk!' He laughed and came over. ... I still have it, and I broke it out for the playoffs."
