Adversity strikes out: In previous years, the inevitable setbacks that afflict a marginal team were usually enough to cut short a good run and send the Orioles into a tailspin. Not this year. The Orioles survived a number of spring training injuries and have continued to win in spite of the neck problem that has cut deeply into the availability of Nolan Reimold (pictured) -- who came out of the box as the club's most productive and clutch hitter -- and an illness that forced closer Jim Johnson out of the bullpen temporarily.
