Four campers were destroyed and two others were damaged by a Saturday morning fire on Vineyard Road at River Bend Park near Hedgesville, W.Va., Hedgesville Volunteer Fire Department Chief Mike Nichols said.
Two sheds, two golf carts and a minivan that was parked nearby also were destroyed, Nichols said. No one was injured.
The fire was called in at about 10:45 a.m. Saturday in the 3200 block of Vineyard Road, Nichols said. The fully-involved fire took firefighters about 90 minutes to control.
"The cause is currently under investigation," Nichols said. "The fire marshal should be in one day next week."
Nichols said the total damage was estimated at about $95,000.
Fire companies from Bedington, Baker Heights, Back Creek Valley and Williamsport also responded.
