Maryland State Police and Washington County Sheriff’s deputies were looking for a black 1989 Chevrolet four-door vehicle after a hit-and-run Tuesday afternoon on National Pike near the Sheetz at Md. 66, according to Washington County Emergency Services.

The Chevy was last seen heading north on Md. 66, a 911 supervisor said.

A trooper at the state police barrack in Hagerstown said Tuesday night that the vehicle had not been located.

An injured person from the Saab, which was struck, was taken to Meritus Medical Center, the 911 supervisor said.

The hit-and-run was reported at 3:01 p.m. Tuesday, the 911 supervisor said.
