News item 4 -- Water main breaks

Two years ago, we suffered through months of traffic jams from Grand Prix construction. At least back then, they were upgrading the roads. This year, it was for a much more frustrating reason: Ancient water mains broke, closing Light Street downtown, Charles Street in Station North and Madison Street near Guilford Avenue. It was yet another reminder that, like your parents, the city's infrastructure is getting old and could use an upgrade.
