On Sept. 15, Lippy assisted the Washington County Sheriff’s Office in the investigation of an armed robbery. A description of the suspect vehicle was given over the police radio, and Lippy responded to the area where the vehicle was being followed by a witness. Lippy located the vehicle and stopped it in a residential complex. The suspects were taken into custody without incident.

Lippy returned to the area where he saw the vehicle enter the residential complex and was able to locate the weapon that allegedly was used in the robbery.

Lippy has been employed by the City of Hagerstown for approximately eight months and is assigned to the Uniform Patrol Division’s Alpha Platoon.

Quincy Village

QUINCY, Pa. — Cheryl Shields and Ryan Knisely recently were hired by Quincy Village.

Shields is the new director of admissions and marketing for its HealthCare Center. She is responsible for managing all facility admissions to ensure timely response to customers and referral sources, and also networks with other professionals and leaders in the community.

Shields previously was the public affairs manager for Waste Management for more than 15 years.

Currently a resident of Fort Loudon, Pa., she has lived in the Greencastle/Chambersburg, Pa., area all her life and has been an active member in the community, serving on the boards of directors for the United Way and Chamber of Commerce.

Knisely is the new sales director for independent living cottages and apartments.

He has more than 10 years of sales and marketing experience, recently as the director of enrollment for Eastern University’s Harrisburg, Pa., campus. Ryan grew up in Adams County, Pa., and lives in Lake Meade, Pa.

He is a graduate of Bermudian Springs High school in York Springs, Pa., earned his bachelor’s degree at Penn State and his master’s degree in business administration from Eastern University.

Knisely is an active member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Hanover, Pa., where he is an assistant minister. In his spare time, he enjoys coaching soccer, baseball and teaching part-time evening business courses at Eastern University on the undergraduate and graduate levels.

He is married with two children.

The Randy Wagner team was recognized as the top team for sales and listings obtained during October, while Jason Hose earned top honors in both categories for individual agents.

Mark Pine received honorable mention accolades for the month.
