Parkway Neuroscience and Spine Institute
Dr. Peter Campbell is the newest neurosurgeon at Parkway Neuroscience and Spine Institute in Hagerstown.
He joins fellow neurosurgeons John R. Caruso, Brian Holmes, Neil Patrick O’Malley and Michael G. Radley in the growing practice with offices in Hagerstown, Frederick, Md., and Chambersburg, Pa.
Campbell, a Louisiana native, is a graduate of Louisiana State University, where he received his Bachelor of Science. He receives his medical degree from Louisiana State University Health Sciences in Shreveport, La., and completed his residency in neurological surgery in Philadelphia at Thomas Jefferson University.
Campbell has been published in numerous peer-reviewed publications and has made presentations on various neurosurgical topics. He is a faculty presenter for Congress of Neurological Surgeons, and made a presentation in October in Chicago. He also will speak at local seminars that will be open to the medical and local communities.
He is a member of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons, Congress of Neurological Surgeons, Southern Neurological Society and American Medical Association.

CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. —Tina M. Bricker has been promoted to assistant financial services officer and assistant community office manager at F&M Trust’s Lincoln Way East office in Chambersburg.
Bricker joined F&M Trust in 1994 and most recently served as a customer service representative at the bank’s West Side office. In her new role, she will be responsible for meeting the needs of consumers and businesses with the appropriate banking solutions to manage and grow their money. In addition, she will build, enhance and expand customer relationships through deposit services and lending.
A graduate of Chambersburg Area Senior High School, Bricker attended Wilson College and will earn an associate degree in business when she receives her diploma in May 2013. She has completed various banking courses offered by the American Bankers Association.
A member of the Chambersburg Area Civitan Club, she volunteers at various community events. A native of Fayetteville, Pa., Bricker lives in the Chambersburg area.

CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. — Richard E. Jordan III has been appointed to the boards of directors of Franklin Financial Services Corp. and its subsidiary, Farmers and Merchants Trust Co. of Chambersburg. His term expires in 2015.
Jordan is a commercial real estate manager and developer serving as vice president of Smith Land & Improvement Corp. in Camp Hill, Pa. The third generation of Jordan leadership, he began working part time for LB Smith Ford, a subsidiary of Smith Land & Improvement Corp., in 1988 in the shops at the dealership while in high school.
After earning his bachelor’s degree from Dickinson College, Jordan took a full-time position with LB Smith Inc.’s heavy-equipment division in Florida, where he sold and leased heavy earth-moving and paving equipment to private contractors and public entities. In 2003, he moved to the Central Pennsylvania office, where he transitioned to commercial real estate management and development of the company’s East Coast portfolio of 30 plazas and commercial developments.
A board member of the Lion Foundation of Camp Hill, Jordan serves on the advisory board of The Salvation Army’s Harrisburg Capital City Region as the president and member of the property and executive committees. He serves as president of the board of the West Shore YMCA and on the Capital Region Economic Development board of directors.
A resident of Camp Hill, Jordan and his wife have two children.
Washington County Health Department
Carroll Seiler was named the Washington County Health Department’s employee of the quarter for the fourth quarter of 2012.
Seiler, who has been with the health department since 2010, is employed with the agency’s Catoctin Summit Adolescent Program as a teacher. He is responsible for the education of junior and senior high school-aged students in the residential substance abuse treatment program for adolescents. Teaching combined classes in a “one-room schoolhouse,” he has imparted the knowledge that has allowed many of his students to complete their high school education.
Prior to coming to the health department, Seiler taught in Carroll and Frederick counties in Maryland.

BOONSBORO — Daniel P. Carrigan, John P. Simcox and Lawrence “Larry” M. Young recently joined the staff at propane-services company ThompsonGas.
A resident of Overland Park, Kan., Carrigan joined ThompsonGas in November as director of business development. He is responsible for initiating the company’s propane acquisitions. Carrigan has been involved in business development in the propane industry for more than 10 years, most recently as director of business development at Inergy Propane LLC and director of corporate development at Ferrellgas prior to that.
For 25 years, he has been involved in mergers and acquisitions, business development, operations, accounting and finance for various industries. Carrigan has a Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in accounting from the University of Notre Dame. He is involved in various propane industry groups, as well as the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
Simcox joined the ThompsonGas team in October as vice president of business development. In this position, he is instrumental in facilitating retail propane acquisitions throughout the Midwest and Northeast. Before joining ThompsonGas, Simcox facilitated more than 35 retail propane acquisitions as director of business development for Inergy L.P. Prior to that, he held director of sales and marketing, vice president and management positions at companies including American Welding & Tank (Harsco Co.) and Chemi-Trol Tank Division.
Simcox is a member of the National Propane Gas Association and the Propane Education & Research Council, past president of the Ohio Propane Gas Association and a member of other state propane gas associations. He graduated from Bluffton University with a bachelor’s degree in business administration and lives in Mechanicsburg, Pa.
In September 2012, Young joined ThompsonGas as project manager. A resident of Honeoye Falls, N.Y., Young’s responsibilities include assisting senior management in developing companywide practices for business analytics, implementation of retail software packages, acquisition integration and standardization of retail policies and procedures. Young holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Delaware and has completed graduate course work through the University of Massachusetts.
Before joining ThompsonGas, Young held branch and regional management positions with Suburban Propane, Star Gas Propane and Inergy Propane. Most recently, he served as project manager of Inergy Propane, where he developed uniform business models and converted more than 90 business units into one back office software package. Young is a marketing chairman of the New York Propane Gas Association.
