Justin M. Baylor of Hagerstown was sworn in and admitted to the Maryland State Bar Association on Dec. 13, 2011, before the Court of Appeals of Maryland in Annapolis.
Baylor graduated from West Virginia University College of Law in Morgantown, W.Va., where he received his Doctor of Jurisprudence. While in law school, he earned a position on the College of Law’s National Moot Court Team, which recognizes students who excel in brief writing and oral advocacy. Baylor represented the College of Law during appellate advocacy competitions against other law schools throughout the country.
Baylor is a member of the Maryland Association for Justice and is practicing law in Hagerstown, concentrating on personal injury and criminal defense.
He is the son of Michael and Susan Baylor of Hagerstown.

GREENCASTLE, Pa. — Scott Palmer and Todd Crawford, with Jack Gaughen Realtor ERA, recently were recognized as agents of the month for January in the Greencastle office.
The award is given based on the number of listings taken, sales made and closed sales, as well as attendance at Realtor functions and continuing-education classes completed.
Palmer was recognized for the five years and more in the business category.
Crawford was recognized for the five years and less in the business category.
Palmer has been selling real estate for 26 years and is an associate broker.
He lives in Greencastle with his wife, Dawn, and daughter.
Crawford has more than 20 years of business and sales experience. He is licensed to sell all types of real estate in Pennsylvania.
Anderson Photographs
Melanie Anderson, owner of Anderson Photographs, won four merit awards and four awards of achievement Feb. 10 at the Maryland Professional Photographers Association Print Competition in Columbia, Md.
The purpose of the competition is to allow photographers to enter photographic prints to be judged against a standard of excellence using the 12 elements of a merit image: impact, technical excellence, creativity, style, composition, presentation, color balance, center of interest, lighting, subject matter, technique and storytelling.
The Maryland Professional Photographers Association also presented Anderson with the Maryland Achievement Award, which is given to the photographer who has shown the most growth and achievement in the photography profession during the previous year.
Anderson Photographs, in downtown Hagerstown, is a custom photographic studio that specializes in seniors, newborns and commercial photography. Anderson is a certified professional photographer, member of the Professional Photographers of America, Maryland Professional Photographers Association and Hagerstown-Washington County Chamber of Commerce.
