WAYNESBORO, Pa. — Jack Gaughen Realtor ERA’s Waynesboro office recognized Kim Mills, Paul Gunder, Matt Gunder and Casey Frost for excellent performance in August.
The decision was based on their high production, including new listings, sales and referrals.
Mills earned Accredited Buyer Representative, Cartus Network Affinity Specialist and Seniors’ Real Estate Specialist designations. She is licensed in Pennsylvania and Maryland.

McCONNELLSBURG, Pa. — Audiologist Susan Parr began seeing patients Sept. 27 at Fulton County Medical Center.
Parr is a board-certified audiologist who specializes in assessing, diagnosing and treating patients with hearing and balance disorders. She can perform a complete assessment, which includes audiometric testing; auditory processing testing and rehabilitation; tinnitus evaluations; counseling and retraining therapy; otoacoustic emission testing; industrial hearing screenings; hearing aids; and middle ear evaluations.
Parr enjoys helping patients who have not been happy with previously fit hearing aids by using the most advanced technology to custom fit the patient’s hearing loss, needs and lifestyle.
Parr was the owner of Parr’s Pro Hearing Services, a multioffice practice in Huntingdon and Lewistown, Pa., for 20 years. She also has been the director of audiology in hospital settings.
Parr earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology, education and Spanish from West Virginia Wesleyan College, a master’s degree in communication disorders with emphasis in audiology from Pennsylvania State University and Doctor of Audiology from the University of Florida. She is a course director for the Council for Accreditation Occupational Hearing Conservation and is certified by the American Board of Audiology.

Washington County Sheriff’s Office
Members from the Washington County Sheriff’s Office, along with police officers from other Maryland agencies, gathered Sept. 7 in Annapolis to be recognized for their contributions to highway safety in Maryland.
The Traffic Safety Specialist Designation is awarded to law enforcement officers who have attainted exceptional levels of experience, training and proficiency in highway safety, and traffic enforcement methods and procedures.
Deputy 1st Class Alan Matheny, Deputy 1st Class Bryan Teets and Deputy 1st Class Daniel Watson Jr. of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office were recognized as 2012 Traffic Safety Specialist Award recipients.
The Traffic Safety Specialist Designation is awarded by the Maryland Police and Correctional Training Commission, and the program is open to all police officers, deputy sheriffs and state troopers from all Maryland law enforcement agencies.
