How did you get into your business, and what motivated you to start it? We started as a small novelty company selling sparklers and seasonal items. That business gradually evolved into selling the full line of consumer fireworks. We now feature more than 300 items, most of which are our own Keystone Fireworks brand. The 12,000-square-foot Greencastle superstore is one of our five stores in Pennsylvania.
Previous business experience: In addition to our stores, we operate nearly 400 seasonal fireworks tent outlets.
Number of employees: Approximately 20 to 25 employees at the Greencastle location during peak season.
Hours: Year-round, seven days a week. June 15 to July 4, 8 a.m. to midnight; July 5 to Sept. 3., 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.; Sept. 4 to March 31, 2013, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
