How did you get into your business, and what motivated you to start it? I have always wanted to do hair since I was a young child. But what really motivated me was when I did my great-grandmother’s hair. It always made her day, which made me happy knowing that doing her hair always put a smile on her face. From the day I started beauty school, it was a dream to one day own my own hair salon, so I have worked very hard for the past 10 years to make my dream come true. I graduated from South Hagerstown High School and Award Beauty School, having never missed a day of beauty school. I have been very active in the beauty industry for the past 10 years in the Hagerstown area, where I also do hair in a local nursing home.
