A dedication and ribbon-cutting ceremony was held Nov. 5 for the opening of Woodlands Apartments at Homewood at Williamsport Retirement Center.
The building was the former nursing home, which was built in 1951. It has been renovated into 35 independent-living apartments.
Active seniors can experience maintenance-free living in apartments and cottages now and priority access to assisted living, rehabilitation, nursing and dementia care on-site when needed.
