We see it in movies, shiny-cheeked people gathering, music in hand to belt out holiday favorites and always wonder who in the heck does that. You, if you have a voice and a sense of adventure, thanks to Caroling at Cloud Gate (yes, The Bean). It won¿t cost you a penny to raise your voice in holiday song with some of Chicago¿s finest choral groups. This means that even if you¿re too shy to sing, you can just listen to others make vocal magic. This is killing two holiday birds with one stone, because you get to entertain your visitors, impress them with Anish Kapoor¿s downright amazing sculpture and show off some of the finest choral voices in town. And if you¿re craving something to put you in the holiday mood, a sing-a-long in scenic Millennium Park is about as warm and fuzzy as it gets. Even the Caribou Coffee warm drinks are complimentary, and who can argue with that?
6 p.m. Fridays, Nov. 25 through Dec. 16 in Millennium Park, 100 N. Michigan Ave. Free; 312-742-1168, millenniumpark.org
