Child endangerment charges

Aurora Escamilla, 19, center, of Zion, is led out of bond court after being charged with one count of endangering the life of a child in Waukegan on Wednesday. Escamilla's 5 month-old son died last week and the death was ruled a homicide. The baby's father, Victor Salinas-Corona, 17, was charged with two counts of first-degree murder and one count of unlawful possession of a firearm. He is being held on $2 million dollar bond.
