Gregory Browne has joined Fifth Street Finance Corp. as a managing director.

Browne brings more than 20 years of leveraged lending experience, primarily to the middle market private equity community, to Fifth Street's Chicago office.

Before joining Fifth Street, Browne spent eight years at CapitalSource Inc., where he handled more than $1 billion in committed financing in the health care industry. Before that, he was senior vice president at GE Capital's Healthcare Financial Services group (then Heller Financial).
