Dave Winston has been named Global Managing Partner of Heidrick & Struggles International Inc.'s Aerospace, Defense and Aviation Practice, the company said.

Winston, who joined Heidrick & Struggles in 2005 with the acquisition of Highland Partners, will concurrently also lead the firm's Dallas office as Partner-in-charge. Previously. Winston was co-founder of a Boston-based boutique recruiting firm focused on venture-backed startups. He was also a member of the technology practice at another major international search firm and was an owner and chief operating officer for a startup company that provided an outsourced supply chain for perfusionists and hospitals performing cardiac surgery procedures.
