Electrical Journey and Master Exam Preparation course

The course prepares students to take the electrical exam.
Students must bring Stallcup’s Master Electrician’s Study Guide

OSHA 10-Hour Course

Monday, March 4, Thursday, March 7, and Monday, March 11, 5:30 to 9 p.m.Registration deadline: Feb. 22
This is a 10-hour certification course. The program is intended to provide instruction on a variety of construction and industry safety and health standards.
Certification cards issued from the OSHA Training Institute.

Maryland Plumbing Exam Prep Course

Saturday, March 16, 7:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Registration deadline: March 8
The course prepares students to take the Maryland Plumbing Journeyman’s and Master Exam.
Materials needed for class, must have for entry:
- National Standard Plumbing Code Illustrated 2006 or 2009
- National Fuel Gas Code; NFPA 54, ANSI 223.1, 2006 or 2009
- “Mathematics for Plumbers and Pipefitters 7th Edition” by Lee Smith
- Working calculator
- Notepaper

CPR/AED and First Aid

American Safety and Health Institute card issued upon completion.

Maryland Backflow Prevention Certification
Instructor: Jim Yacovissi
March 22, 23 and 24, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Registration deadline: March 15
(Recertification, Saturday, Feb. 18)
This is a Maryland state-approved certification course. After passing the written and practical examinations, students receive a certificate and wallet card.
