The Washington County Retired Educational Personnel Association announced the availability of its Nellie and Lake Lytton Scholarship applications for the 2013-14 school year.
Eligible candidates are junior and senior graduates from one of the Washington County public schools or anyone who has already graduated from the school system. To be eligible, a candidate must be aspiring to become a teacher. Applications are available in the guidance offices of the public schools.
Six $1,000 scholarships will be awarded.
