HUNTINGDON, Pa.—
Carrington Jones of Hagerstown, a student at Juniata College, will attend the 2012 Republican National Convention in Tampa, Fla., at the Tampa Bay Times Forum. One of the college’s professors creates an entire course focused on the political conventions. The students attend the conventions, blog, work at internships at the conventions and attend seminars before the conventions.
At the convention, delegates of the Republican Party will choose the party’s nominees for president and vice president. It will be held during the week of Aug. 27.
