FAIRFAX, Va. —  Matthew “Matt” S. Barnhart of Greencastle, Pa., a senior in the  School of Management majoring in accounting and finance and minoring in economics, was named to the dean’s list for the fall semester at George Mason University.

He is the son of Mary Lou R. Barnhart and the late Steve Barnhart of Greencastle.

FREDERICK, Md. — Jordan Atha of Williamsport earned a bachelor of arts degree from Hood College at commencement on Jan. 15.
 

 

WESTMINSTER, Md. — McDaniel College theater-arts students will perform in “The Sleep of Reason,” a fantasy examining the turbulent final years painter Francisco Goya.

Performances are Wednesday, March 6, to Saturday, March 9, at 7:30 p.m. in WMC Alumni Hall at McDaniel College, 2 College Hill, Westminster.

Among the students performing are:

Senior Shelley Hierstetter of Mount Airy, Md., as Leocadia

Sophomore Sarah Hull of Keedysville as Gumersinda
