1. Dancing to find a cure
Bowl for the Cure Benefit Dance, will be Saturday, March 17, at Next Dimensions, 132 Old National Pike, south of Funkstown. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.; dinner at 7:30 p.m., dancing follows. Dance benefits Susan G. Komen for the Cure. The evening includes a buffet dinner, raffles, 50/50 raffle, cash bar, music by Spectrum, pictured. Tickets $25 per person in advance; $30 at the door. 2. The circus is coming
"Circus, Circus and More Circus" will have two shows 4:30 and 7:30 p.m. Friday, March 16, at Hagerstown National Guard Armory, 18500 Roxbury Road, Hagerstown. $15 for one adult and one or two children; $5 per additional child. 3. Having a ball
Cystic Fibrosis St. Patty's Day Ball will be from 6 to 11 p.m. Saturday, March 17, at Wilson Ruritan Club, U.S. 40 West of Huyetts Crossroads, Hagerstown. 4. 'Singing' for their supper
Showcase of the Stars will be Friday, March 16, at Hager Hall Conference and Event Center, 901 Dual Highway, Hagerstown. Doors open at 6 p.m. The show will feature lip-synching and choreographic talents of the top celebrities in the region. The show will be in the style of "American Idol."
