1. An evening of 'Stars'
Ballet and All That Jazz students will present their spring recital Saturday, May 19. The 2 p.m. recital will feature the youngest ballerinas as "Stars ... Tiny, Sparkling and Shining." The 7 p.m. recital will feature the ballet school's intermediate and advanced dancers. The Maryland Theatre, 21 S. Potomac St., downtown Hagerstown. $5 all seats. 2. Fun and learning
Kids Alive Fest will be from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, May 19, at Children's Village, 1546 Mount Aetna Road, east of Hagerstown. Saturday, May 19, Timed ball toss, food, mini car rides. Also K-9 demo at noon, auto extrication demo at 1 p.m., helicopter landing and Medivac demo at 1:15 p.m., Ronald McDonald Safety Show at 2 p.m. plus child ID program and fire hose spraying challenge. 3. Got some coin?
Friendly Coin Club will hold its annual coin show from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, May 19, at Quality Inn, Wayne Avenue, Chambersburg, Pa. The show includes buying, selling and trading of coins and currency. Door prizes. Free.
4. Grapevine time
Cumberland Valley Country Western Dance Association will host a line dance from 7:30 to 10:30 a.m. Saturday, May 19, at Old Quincy High School gym next to Mowery Elementary School, Pa. 997, Quincy, Pa. $5 per person. Call 717-749-5281.
