Santa Claus will see children from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday, Nov. 23, at Ashley Furniture, Longmeadow Shopping Center, Hagerstown. Call 301-730-5332.
2. Handmade gifts by local artisans
Shepherdstown Christmas Bazaar will be at the Shepherdstown Community Club Building, 102 E. German St., Shepherdstown, W.Va. Hours are 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 23; 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturdays, Nov. 24 to Dec. 22, and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sundays, Nov. 25 to Dec. 23. Items include handcrafted gifts such as pottery, fused glass, fine art, woodcrafts, jewelry, clothing, knitted and crocheted items, specialty foods, seasonal items and more. Sponsored by the Shepherdstown Community Club.
3. Hungry hunters
Hunters breakfast will be from 3 to 9 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 24, at St. Paul's United Methodist Church, 11404 Tedrick Drive, Big Pool. The menu includes sausage and chipped beef gravy, biscuits, eggs, fried potatoes, coffee, juice and more. Cost is by donation. Call Harriet at 301-790-1761.
4. Got to dance
One on One Singles will sponsor a singles dance Sunday, Nov. 25, at Funkstown American Legion, Post 211, 12 W. North Side Ave., Funkstown. Music by Slate's DJ, casual dress, snacks, door prizes, 50-50 drawing. Doors open at 5:30 p.m.; dance 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. $7. Call 304-274-3809 or 304-839-2322.
