2. Trio Galilei to perform
Trio Galilei will perform at 4 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 23, at Shepherdstown Presbyterian Church, 100 Washington St., Shepherds-town, W.Va. Holiday concert featuring Carolyn Surrick on viola da gamba, harpist Sue Richards and Hanneke Cassel on violin. $18; $15, senior citizens; $12 Shepherdstown Music and Dance members; $8, children and students; free for Shepherd students with Rambler ID. Taste Monument Fine Wines from 1 to 5 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 22, at Gordon's Grocery, 101 Cypress St., Hagerstown. The event will benefit Humane Society of Washington County Inc. 4. Concert for Peace
A Concert for Peace will be at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 22, at Berkeley Springs Presbyterian Church, 101 S. Mercer St., Berkeley Springs, W.Va. The Springs Chamber Ensemble's program will feature Jessica Marie Muniz's "Fallen Peace," a work composed in honor of three soldiers killed in Iraq, as well as music by Mozart and Beethoven and prayers and poems focused on peace and reconciliation. One on One Singles dance for ages 21 and older will be from 7 p.m. to midnight Friday, Dec. 21, at Knights of Columbus, 20340 Leitersburg Pike, Hagerstown. Bring a dish for potluck dinner.
