Nine pairs competed Friday, Oct. 26, during a meeting of the Little Heiskell Duplicate Bridge Club.
Anne Carden and David Abuhove finished first in Flight A with a 63.89-percent game. Barbara Shaw and Will Garner came in second in Flight A with 59.03 percent, and Bill and Madeline Davis were third in Flight A and first in Flight B with 54.17 percent. Elaine Rowe and Kathy Goss tied with Barbara Couch and Frank Carden for fourth in Flight A with 49.31 percent. Couch and Carden were also second in Flight B. Bea Van Norden and Nancy Burger placed first in Flight C with 46.53 percent.
In the annual masterpoint race as of the end of October, Rich Evans is in first place with 18.51 masterpoints, Jim McCracken is second with 17.71, and David Abuhove is in third place with 16.85 points. Bob Munger is in fourth place with 15.71 points, and Anne Carden in is fifth place with 15.16 points. Bill and Madeline Davis are tied for sixth place with 12.40, and Elaine Rowe has 12.29 points for eighth place. Sue Munger is in ninth place with 12.23 points, and Aurora and Bruce McDonough are tied for tenth place with 10.78 masterpoints.
