Dave and Connor see a specialist on Bora Bora and he suggests that David needs crutches. But most importantly, He needs a sonogram to see if his injury is serious or not.
At 8:54 The Hockey players are off the Pit stop and headed to the airport. The casts’ new destination is Christchurch, New Zealand.
At the airport, Team Cali does not like their odds with Hockey. They want to sabotage the guys as much as possible. They decide it IS best to give the express pass to the Father / Son pair. They need more people to put up defense against the strong hockey pair. Unfortunately for John, both of them and the brothers make it on the first flight to Tahiti. But, it doesn’t matter because all the teams caught up.
While the others are at the airport for their connecting flight, Dave and Conner are at the hospital. The medical staff figures out through sonogram that Dave has a tear in his calf and Achilles. They put him in a boot and a best of wish. The father and Son duo are not quitters; they beat cancer, therefore, they can beat an injury.
At the FAA’A international airport, teams are building alliances. John and Jessica recruit Team YouTube and Team Roller Derby Moms into their fold. The Country Blondes butter up the Hockey Players by giving them cardboard boxes for them to sleep on.
When the flight that everyone is on, lands, Pam and Winnie get on the first flight to ChristChurch at 5pm. The rest stagger times 30 minutes apart. Alabama is on the last flight, coming in at 7:30.
Despite landing first, the Asians have a hard time with directions. AKA they are LOST!... again.
Once the teams make it to the Rakaia River, they must pick up a number to ride a Jet Boat. The tours don’t start until 7am the next day but the order is important.
