My husband and I go to most of the Sun's home games and we can't think of a better way to spend a pleasant evening outdoors in the fresh air. It's great to watch these young men playing their hearts out, knowing that this is their chance to shine. Look around the stands and try to spot the scouts! There are no prima donas out on the field at Municipal Stadium. Each player gives it his all every night. This is their chance to get into the big show.

Yes, i have been to many Suns games. I'm a Winchester Royals fan and many of our former players come thru there. We have 2 former players playing for Ashville Tourists but I noted the schedule and they don't come there this year. very disappointing. Current Suns player Darrin McMains played for us 3 yrs. ago.I'll be sure to come see him play. It was to bad he "blew" out his knee last year. Hope to be there soon.

The Suns offer a relaxing evening of entertainment...
I was there last Thursday night for a doubleheader, and although the Suns were swept, it was a bargain for 5 hours of fun...there's enough distractions off the field to keep you entertained when the home team is struggling...we try to get to the ball park at least once a month....this lousy spring weather hasn't helped much, though.... |

We enjoy going to the games, too. Since the weather has been uncooperative, we've only gone 3 or 4 times this year. And ya know, the crappy scoreboard was bad, but yesterday, they weren't even using it at all! I'm no baseball expert, so I like having it there to know what inning it is, and how many outs, so on... Kind of hard to keep track when chasing child around playground, potty breaks, and other interruptions. Pleeeeeease get a new scoreboard!!!!!!

Our daughter keeps track of "Firework Fridays" so we never miss one. I must say that the fireworks were quite impressive all season. My brother-in-law and 2 of his friends came to town from Chicago, and we took them to the game a couple weeks ago. They really enjoyed themselves and were impressed by the caliber of show put on by a small team like ours. Mind you, these guys go to Cubs games all the time at home! Kudos to the Suns and their sponsors! We appreciate your hard work!!
